Dorset Treibball

We are delighted to welcome Alex Gosney to Watercombe Dogs.

Alex brings over 25 years of experience in training and rehabilitating both dogs and horses. She is passionate about helping people build strong, positive partnerships with their animals and enjoys sharing the knowledge she has gained through decades of hands-on work, so that dogs and handlers can thrive together.

For the past two years, Alex has been immersed in the world of Treibball (pronounced try-ball). She has trained with some of Europe’s leading Treibball trainers in Germany, the birthplace of the sport, and has gone on to compete and judge at international Treibball events.

Alex is proud to offer some of the first Treibball training in Dorset at Watercombe Dogs.

Treibball is a dynamic, reward-based dog sport that builds teamwork, focus, and joyful connection. Often referred to as urban herding, dogs learn to push large inflatable balls into a goal area – think football, but for dogs.

Originally developed to give herding breeds a constructive outlet for their instincts, Treibball is now enjoyed by dogs of all breeds, ages, and sizes. Whether your dog loves having a job to do or would benefit from a confidence boost, Treibball offers a fun, structured, and enriching way to channel their energy.

Please get in touch if you are interested in Treibball for your dog, we have regualar classes and workshop spaces.

We look forward to welcoming you and your four-legged teammate into the world of Treibball at Watercombe Dogs.

Please note: once booked, payments are non-refundable.
